William F. Clark, 67, of Dickson City died April 15, 2017 at Regional Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Dickon City, he was the son of the late William and Violet Bordo Clark.  He had been employed as a machine operator at Sandvik Steel prior to retirement, where he was also a union steward.  He was educated in Dickson City High School.

William was fond of introducing  himself as “Wild Bill”, was a die-hard Yankee’s fan, and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Surviving is a daughter, Elizabeth Owens, Dickson City; two grandsons, Brody and Gavin Owens; a sister, Elaine Aston, Dickson City; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael and a sister, Betty.

There will be no public calling hours, but William’s family invites friends to join them on April 29th, 3pm, at Williams home to share in a celebration of his life.  To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.
