The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the  Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with a mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 215 Rebecca St., Throop.  Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.  Interment with military honors will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Dickson City.   To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Victor Roshinski, 75, of Throop, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Lorraine Woytack.

Born in Mount Carmel, he was the son of the late Victor and Isabelle Maleski Roshinski, and he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Throop, and a former member of its choir.  He was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School, class of 1963, and he served with the US Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of American Legion Post 665, Dickson City, and the Jan Sobieski Club, Kulpmont, PA.  He had been employed by Harper Collins for 26 years, prior to retirement.

Victor was a loving and caring husband, brother, uncle, and friend.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to his vegetable garden.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Surviving is a sister, Rose Gonzalo, and husband, Jose, Mount Carmel; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister Theresa Reed.
