Thomas J. Skrobiszewski, 56, of Dickson City, entered into eternal rest on December 19th, 2021, at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, after a short but courageous battle with illness.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandi Skrobiszewski née Chrzanowski.

Born in Scranton, Thomas was the son of the late Matthew and Frances Szewczyk Skrobiszewski, a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City, and the Sons of the American Legion Post 665.  Thomas was a graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School who worked as an X-ray technician at CMC’s Cath lab and afterwards for the PA Treasury in the unclaimed property department.

Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who loved spending time with his sons Matthew and Thomas.  The light of his life was his grandson Jackson, and he enjoyed golfing, the Boston Red Sox, and the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by his two sons, Thomas and wife Stephanie, Havre de Grace, MD, and Matthew, Dickson City; his very special grandson Jackson; his two sisters, Sharon Laneski and husband Joseph, Palm Bay, FL, and Gail Moeller and husband John Jr., Olyphant; his mother-in-law, Shirley Chrzanwoski; two sisters-in-law, Linda Schaad and husband Daniel, Mildred, PA, and Dee Ann Pedro and husband Rick, Dushore, PA; brother-in-law Edward Chrzanowski, Dushore, PA; his dear friend David Soltis, Jessup; nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father-in-law Edward Chrzanowski Sr.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the ICU of Moses Taylor for the care they gave Thomas, and also requests that people please donate blood to the Red Cross in Thomas’s memory.
