The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.   Friends may call Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Theresa Scott Korczakowski, 93, of Olyphant, died Wednesday June 1st, 2022, at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Throop, she was the daughter of the late John and Stella Szczepanska Yablonski and was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  She was a graduate of Throop high school and prior to retirement was a seamstress and worked for Telespond as a care provider for her last twenty years.

Theresa is survived by her son, David Korczakowski, Oreland, Pa; her two grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Lauren Korczakowski and David Korczakowski Jr.; her two sisters, Carrie Yaninek, Jessup, and Rose Fryckberg, Monmouth, Or; nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by Anthony Korczakowski Sr. and John Scott; her son, Anthony Korczakowski Jr; her brother, John Yablonski; and her three sisters, Mary Washkuch Dean, Fran Zielinski, and Alice “Talla” Horvath Phillip.
