The funeral will be Monday at 11:30 from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc. , 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City with mass at 12 noon in St. Adalbert’s PNCC, Dickson City. Theresa S. Lick, 88, of Scott Twp., went to be with the love of her life, her husband Joseph on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband Joseph Lick died July 30, 1991.

Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Frances Krzyzanowski Hetkowski and she was an active member of St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City and a member of the Lutnia Choir, the Women’s Adoration Society and the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and prior to retirement she was employed in the local garment industry as a seamstress and after retirement she was employed by the Inne of the Abington’s.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt who was a diehard Phillies fan. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, bowling, and playing pinochle. She was a selfless person always placing the needs of others before her own. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Theresa’s family would like to thank the staff at the Regional Hospital of Scranton for their kind and considerate care during her illness.

Surviving are two daughters, Gayle Miller and husband, Don, Cresco and Theresa Lick, Scott Twp., two sons, Joseph Lick Jr. and wife, Debi, Scott Twp., and Robert Lick and wife, Debby, Scott Twp.; grandchildren, Joseph Jonathan Lick and wife, Amanda, Travis Lick and wife, Nicole, Jesse Lick, Lindsay Lick, Sarah Miller and Seth Miller and wife, Kristen; great grandchildren, Reilly, Max, Mattingly and Magnolia Lick; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Chester and Edward Hetkowski and sisters, Adamine Smargiassi, Marie Lanuti, Ceil Lupini and Dolores Hetkowski.
