Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Dickson City.  To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Susan E. Maholick, 69, of Dickson City, died unexpectedly Friday morning April 21, 2017 at home.

 

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John “Mitch” and Dorothy Kurmas Maholick and she was a devout member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and she attended Marywood University.  She had been employed in the accounting department at Sugarman’s, Eynon and later at Dunmore Appliance.

 

She was a loving and caring sister and aunt.  Sue was a great person who loved her dogs Bubba and Dolly and would be seen daily walking them along the Blvd. in Dickson City.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

 

Surviving is a sister, Linda Smolley, Dickson City; a brother, John J. Maholick and wife, Kim, Dickson City; nephews, John Paul and Eric Smolley, John C. Maholick and a niece, Stephanie Maholick all of Dickson City; and cousins.
