Stanley Miezejewski Sr., a lifelong resident of Dickson City, passed away at home with his beloved wife Shirley by his side on Wednesday July 5, 2017, after a brief illness.

 

Born in Dickson City, he was the son of the late Vincent and Victoria Holeva Miezejewski.  He was a graduate of Dickson City High School and was formerly employed by Mid Valley School District and Morris White Fashions.

 

Stanley was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and gardening.  He was a loving, generous, kind man who always told it the way it was.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Kersavage Miezejewski; two sons, Stanley Miezejewski Jr. and wife, Karen and Robert Miezejewski and companion, Cindy; a daughter, Kathy Melliand and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Stanley III, Eric, Jennifer, Kristin and fiancée, Chris and TJ; nieces and nephews.

 

He was the youngest and last remaining of 8 siblings including, Edward, John, Frank Vincent, Joseph, Pearl and Bernadine.
