Friends may call Saturday November 21, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc. 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City. A blessing service will be held during the calling hours. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City and will be private and at the convenience of the family. Robert E. “Bobby” Reap Jr., 69, of Dickson City, died at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton shortly after arrival on Wednesday evening November 11, 2015.

Born in Dickson City, he was the son of Regina Zandarski Reap, Dickson City and the late Robert E. Reap Sr. He was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City and he was a graduate of Dickson City High School, class of 1964. Bob served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and he was a member of American Legion Post 665, Dickson City. Prior to retirement he was employed in automobile sales.

Bob was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle and friend who was also a considerate caregiver to his father and mother. He enjoyed singing, listening to music, socializing with friends and watching college football. He was very supportive of all veterans causes. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Surviving is a sister, Claudia Giardina and husband, Jim, Camp Hill; two nephews, James Giardina and wife, Dana, Lemoyne, PA and Nicholas Giardina, Philadelphia; a great nephew, Brayden Giardina; an aunt and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Reap, who died in 1969.
