The funeral will be Wednesday, October 6th, at 9am from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City.  Friends may call Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.

Regina “Reggie” Stemphoski, 91, of Dickson City, died Saturday, October 2nd, at home.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Chester “Smitty” Stemphoski, who passed in 2001.

Born in Dickson City, Reggie was the daughter of the late John and Hedwig Szewczyk Przybylkowski. She was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City, a member of the Christian Mother’s Society, and a graduate of Dickson City High School class of 1947.  Prior to retirement she worked as a seamstress for Bobby Dress.

Reggie was an avid bowler and loved animals, especially her cat, Kitty.  She also enjoyed gambling at the casino, was the family baker and pierogi maker, and will be remembered for her sense of humor.

Reggie is survived by her daughter, Deborah Smith, Dickson City, her son, David, Olympia, WA, her two granddaughters, Jerilynne Galbreth and husband Richard, and Melissa Yanchak and husband Chris, her brother, Chester Przybylkowski, Dickson City, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Manna, her brother Edward Przybylkowski, her son-in-law, Gerald Smith, and her daughter-in-law Marianna.
