The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City with mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City.  Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.  For directions or to leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Peter C. Skierski, 92, Manville, NJ died Wednesday September 26, 2018, at home.  He is survived by his wife,  Dolores Kulas Skierski.

Born in Dickson City, he was the son of the late Helidor and Stella Grzelecki Skierski.   He was a graduate of Dickson City High School, and Rutgers University, with a B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting.  He had been employed by Johns Manville Research Center in their accounting department for 20 years, R. P. Scherer, and he retired from Lackland Bros. Storage, Edison N.J.  He served with the US Navy during WW II, and he was a 50 year member of American Legion Post 665, Dickson City.

His family would like to extend a special thank you to Luis and Aria for their help and loving care.

Surviving is a daughter, Ann Marie Schaefer,  and husband, Gregg, Stephen City, VA; a son, Paul Skierski and wife, Caroline, League City, TX; grandchildren, Lindsay, Cory and Katie Schaefer, Paul and Madelyn Skierski; brothers and sisters in law; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Theodore, Stanley, Alexander, Leonard, and Joseph; and sisters, Pearl Pettinato, and Jean Topolski.
