Nancy Grace Dragon, 60, of Scott Twp., died on October 15, 2022, while visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Lloyd Dragon.  Nancy was a graduate of Lakeland High School, where she was the manager for the Lakeland girl’s basketball team of 1980.  She received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University.

Nancy helped Bruce, Logan, and James with growing up with life challenges.  She also loved her 3 dogs Peanut, Snickers, and Caesar.  Nancy loved singing, playing guitar, gardening, music, and cooking/baking.  She loved hot air balloons, lighthouses, and Unicorns.  As a young adult, she loved quad-riding, snowmobiling, and spending time in Florida.

Surviving is a brother, John Dragon, and wife, Loretta, Scott Twp.; several cousins, and friends.

I was sorry to see this article. John, I remember you helping Nancy onto the school bus and what a great brother you were. Last I saw Nancy, she was taking a painting class and as happy as ever. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Nance we went through so much together since childhood. We shared the good times as well as the bad, if only we made it a movie! Too much to reflect on, now you are finally free of your physical sufferings, you're with Momma D., someone you missed so deeply for so long. I will forever remember my "sister", and the strength you've shown.
