The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City with a blessing service conducted by Msgr. Michael Delaney, pastor of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Scott Twp. Mary Norma Yazinski, 79, of Olyphant, died Thursday morning July 9, 2015 at VNA Hospice at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Lawrence Yazinski.

Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Santini Ceccoli and she was a former member of St. Mary’s Assumption Church, Jessup. She was educated in Olyphant school and she had been employed as a seamstress in the garment industry and later at Specialty Records now Cinram, Olyphant.

She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and caring for her pets, especially Tia. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at VNA Hospice and Life Geisinger for their considerate care. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Surviving is a daughter and caregiver, Sharon Reha and husband, Joseph, and granddaughter, Chiara Reha, Olyphant; sons, Larry Yazinski and wife, Linda and Douglas Yazinski and wife, Diana, all of Olyphant; grandchildren, Atty. Douglas Yazinski and wife, Bridget, Christopher Yazinski, Cassaundra Sotak and husband,  Patrick; one aunt, nieces and nephews.

Norma was a warm and loving person to everyone. We will miss her. Our deepest sympathy go to the Yazinski family. The Mariani Family.
