Marjorie Poklemba, of Olyphant, passed away peacefully at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, on Sunday morning October 21, 2018 with her loving daughter by her side.  She was the wife of the late John Poklemba with whom she shared 52 years of marriage at the time of his death in 2002.

Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Magur Rock.  She was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant.  Marjorie was a graduate of Dickson City High School, class of 1946, and she was a former member of the Olyphant Lions Club.

Marge devoted her life to caring for her entire family.  She was always there for others, whether it be family, neighbors or friends.  She made a difference in the lives of everyone she touched with her kind and giving heart.

She will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts of her loving family and all those who knew and loved her.  “To know Marge was to love her”.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gilhooley, Dr. Gershey and their staff for not only their excellent care but treating her with love and compassion.  Also, Revolutionary Home Health, especially her nurse Paula Fringuellotti, her angel on earth, who treated her not as a patient but as family and the kind and caring staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Her family will be forever grateful for all the love and support from family, and friends during the past few years.
