The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City.  In lieu of flowers please remember Marie by donating to St. Joseph’s Center 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.  To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Marie M. McCorry passed away peacefully at home in Archbald on April 5, 2017 at the age of 60.

 

Born in Liberty, NY she was the daughter of the late Chester Moczulski and Eleanor Kuranda Moczulski Kobierecki and Joseph Kobierecki.  Marie was a 1974 graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School and a 1977 graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY.  She was an office manager for the Action Review Group, Jessup until her retirement in 2011.

 

Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, terrific sister and friend.  She was especially proud of her four grandchildren.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Kristin Yashinski and Lorissa Taraschuk and husband, Justin; twin sister Diane Chamberlain and husband, Rob and sister, Janice Fueshko and husband, Joseph; brothers, Joseph Kobierecki and wife, Bernadette, Dennis Kobierecki and wife, Anne and Walter Kobierecki and wife, Pat; grandchildren, Alexis, Joey, Lily and Bryce; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Mark Moczulski.
