Lisa Marie Shuta, 47, of Clarks Summit, died Monday morning December 7, 2015 at Moses Taylor Hospital Scranton, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley M. and Beverly Justave Shuta. She was a graduate of Mid Valley High School and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, and presently she was a Pharmacist  at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Lisa passed away surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was an avid Yankees fan and season ticket holder. During the holiday season family and friends looked forward to her famous Christmas cookie platters and her homemade raisin bread.
Lisa really enjoyed her dogs Rodney and Dewey and her cats Sabrina, Eli, and Tino.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Moses Taylor Hospital especially Todd, Angie, Amber, and Ann Marie for their care and compassion.

Surviving is a sister, Christine Dippre and husband James, Clarks Summit; two brothers, Mark Shuta and companion Lori Schaepe, Dickson City and Michael Shuta and wife, Holly, Olyphant; two nephews Ryan Shuta and Aiden Dippre; step nephew, Michael Burns; step nieces, Kaeleigh and Delanie Schaepe; two aunts, Ann Marie and Mary Elaine Justave, Scranton; one cousin, Greg Justave and wife, Jill, Clarks Summit.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Lupus Foundation Landmark Building 100 W. Station Square Dr., Suite 1920, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 and the Little Red Dog House in Clarks Summit.
