Sosnowski, 89, of Dickson City, died Tuesday, at Allied Skilled Nursing Facility, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Sosnowski. He died on June 21, 2003. Born in Throop, she was the daughter of the late, John and Julia Niemotko, and she was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City. She was graduated from Throop High School, and prior to retirement, she was employed by Supermarket Services, Dunmore. She was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who adored her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings and traveling. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Surviving are three grandsons, Kenneth Sosnowski, Killian, TX, Daniel Sosnowski, Peckville, and fiancé, Jenna Nylan, and Adam Sosnowski, Dickson City, and companion, Allie Delicati; great-grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Kennsie, and Bailey; a brother, Joseph Wrable, and wife, Elsie, Throop; sister-in-law, Rose Wrable, Dunmore; former daughter in law, Nancy Bogdanovicz, Dickson City; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth S. Sosnowski, and a brother, Jerome Wrabel. Janet’s funeral will be Friday, December 3, 2021, at 9:45 from the Frank T.
