The funeral will be Thursday, with mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City, celebrated by Rev. Senior William Chromey, Pastor.  Anyone attending the funeral is to go directly to the church.  Burial will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Dickson City.  For directions or to leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Janet A. Neyman, 84, of Blakely, died Sunday morning July 22, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Blakely, she was the daughter of the late John and Francine Sowinski Toton.  Janet was a member of St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City, where she belonged to the Ladies Adoration Society and the M.K. Society, and was a graduate of Blakely High School.  Prior to retirement, she worked as a cook at Larioni’s Restaurant.

Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She also loved gardening and was a great pierogi maker.

Janet is survived by her two sons, Allan Merli and wife Joann, Jessup, and Richard Merli, Peckville, and one daughter, Lisa Larioni and husband Greg, Clay, NY; sisters, Florence Mundro, Dickson City, Dorothy Markiewicz, Montrose, Michalene Pane, Dunmore, brother Thomas Toton and wife Joyce, Endicott, NY, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Merli, brother Judge Toton, and sisters Josephine Toton and Mildred Mayorowski.
