There will be no public calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021, at St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Anyone attending should go directly to the Church. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Scott Twp. Arrangements Frank T. Helen A. Yablonski, 77, of Moosic, PA died Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit, Dunmore.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Yablonski.  He died on July 23, 2021.

Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen Matyjewicz Grzybowski.   She was a graduate of Scott Twp high school and a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  After graduating high school Helen served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.   Prior to retirement, she was employed by Lockheed Martin.

Helen enjoyed traveling with David and time spent with her friends in Florida. Later in life she became a collector of antiques and spent time buying and refinishing antique furniture. Her granddaughters brought her great joy in life.

Helen is survived by her three children; Janine Yablonski, Winter Park, FL, Erik Yablonski, Blakely, and Kendra Davis and husband Thomas, Newton Twp; her two granddaughters, Graceann and Hannah; brothers, Stanley, and wife, Romayne, Maryland, Donald and wife, Linda, Scott Twp., Robert and wife, Mary Lou, Scott Twp.; sisters, Bernadine DePietro, and husband, Frank, Peckville, Regina Harper, Manassas, VA, Susan Snyder and husband, Mel, Scott Twp., and Ann Marie Leonard, Scott Twp.; numerous nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, James and John Grzybowski; and sisters Patricia Moran, Margaret Scoblick, and Lucille Korczakowski.

A special thank you to her caregivers at Glenmaura Senior Living Memory Care and for all her nurses from Hospice Sacred Heart that provided care to her over the past months and who made her comfortable in her final days.
