The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St. Dickson City with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.   Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be private for family only at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Scott Twp.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1090 Carmalt St., Dickson City, PA 18519.  Due to Covid-19 guidelines, masks will be required for entry at the funeral home, and social distancing will be maintained.  For directions or to leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Gerald Kaminski, 81, of Dickson City died Saturday morning August 1, 2020, at home.  He is survived by his wife Elaine Stracham Kaminski who he shared 60 wonderful years with, married for 47 years.

Born in Scranton, on December 29, 1938, he was the son of the late George and Anna Purta Kaminski, and he was a member of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Dickson City.  He was a graduate of Dickson City High School, and he served with the US Navy.  He retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot as a production controller.

Jerry’s wife Elaine would like to thank all the people at Asera Care Hospice for their compassionate care.

He is survived by his sister, Ann Marie Vittor and husband, Louis, New Cumberland, PA; In-laws, Stanley and Anna May Stracham, Robert and Romaine Stracham, Connie Wallinger, and Debbie and John Malecki, all of Scott Twp.; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law, Eugene and Joan Kaminsky, and father and mother in law, Stanley and Stephanie Stracham; grandparents Konstanty and Rose Purta; also James Novak who was like a brother to him.
