Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City with a mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  The interment will be private.  To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Frank A. DiVizio, 91, of Dickson City, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at home.

Born in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Biagio and Elizabeth Morlino DiVizio, and he was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  He was a 1951 graduate of Dunmore High School, and he served on their reunion committee.  Prior to retirement, he was employed as a supervisor in the local garment industry.

Frank was a very active member of his community.  He was a 3rd-degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 10729, and a 4th-degree member of Knights of Columbus council 2659, both of Jessup.  He was a bingo worker at St. Mary’s Church Bingo, served with the Keystone chapter of UNICO, participated in activities at the downtown Senior Center of Scranton, sang with the group “Forever Young” at local nursing homes, and was seen dancing on the WVIA Polka Party, and he was a member of the ILGWU.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings, sister, Mary Shutta, sister, Helen Przybylka, brother, George DiVizio, sister, Lucy Ball, sister, Elizabeth Verrastro, and brother, Blaise DiVizio.
