The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City; with mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City, celebrated by Rev. Senior William Chromey, Pastor.  Entombment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.  Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.  A Christian wake service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m.   Memorial donations may be made to either Allied Skilled Nursing or Allied Hospice.  For directions or to leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Frances Rosalie Warsky, 90, of Waverly and Naples, FL, died Monday evening July 16, 2018 at Allied Hospice, Clarks Summit, with her loving family by her side.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Warsky, who died September 15, 2004.

Born in Dickson City, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Stazik Poguchewski.  Frances was a devout member of St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City, and a former member of its Adoration society.  She was educated in Dickson City schools, and started her career working alongside her husband Jerry at their gas station/bait shop in Montdale.  Later they founded Jerry’s Sports Center with locations throughout the country.  She was a member of the Waverly Women’s Club, were she enjoyed playing pinochle.  She also enjoyed working on puzzles, and playing Bingo.

Frances was a loving and gracious mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who loved her family immensely.  She was an amazing cook who needed and enjoyed “Retail Therapy”.  Fran’s family would like to thank Patty Toye for her many years of care and companionship, and Robin Perkoski for her loving care.

Surviving are two daughters, Maryann Kaufman, and husband, David, Naples FL, and Diane Lore, Las Vegas, NV; grandsons, Jerry Kaufman, and wife, Ellie, Mooresville, NC, and David Kaufman II, Baltimore, MD; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Sophie Kudlo, Helen Poguchewski, Lottie Przychodny, and Bernice “Bonnie” Stanco; brothers, Edward and Frank Kudlo, and Alexander Poguchewski.
