Frances A. Krawczyk, 83, of Dickson City, died Tuesday morning July 11, 2017 at home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Krawczyk who died February 8, 2002.

Born in Peckville, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Nellie Ferris Chisar and she was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  She was educated in Dickson City schools and prior to retirement she was employed as a seamstress at various garment manufacturers.

Frances enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and playing Parcheesi with her son.  She loved her feline companions dearly and she enjoyed yard work and planting flowers.  But most of all she loved spending time with her family.  Christmas was always her favorite time of the year, when she would lovingly make her family favorite, mushroom soup and look forward every year to our annual Christmas gatherings.  Frances was such a loving and generous spirit who always unselfishly gave of herself to anyone in time of need.  The worrisome person that she was; they’ll be no more worries forever more, for she is finally home.

Surviving are six children, Mark Krawczyk, Robert Krawczyk and wife, Diane, Lawrence Krawczyk, Mary Dragon, Jeff Krawczyk and wife, Lee Ann and Lisa Dunback all of Dickson City; grandchildren, Jason Krawczyk and wife, Tina, Ashley Skeen and husband Keith, Amanda Krawczyk and companion, Rich, Jessica Krawczyk, Sarah Davis and husband Tom, Jennifer Davis and husband, Andrew, Rachel Krawczyk and Madison Krawczyk; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Delores Wallo and husband, Michael, Hanover, PA; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son in law Robert Dunback, three grandchildren, Stephen, LaurAnn and Jacob Krawczyk; two brothers, Stanley and Joseph Chisar and two sisters, MaryAnn Lubniewski and Antoinette Mack.
