A blessing service was conducted by Msgr. Patrick Pratico on Wednesday April 6, 2016 in the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc. 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.  Entombment was at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Dickson City.

Pallbearers were Joseph Malski, Gary Pezak, Donald Stephens, Craig Pezak, Corey Pezak and Jeremy Staples.

Felix D. Malski, 83, of Dickson City, died Tuesday April 5, 2016 at the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Center, Scranton.  He is survived by his wife the former, Dorothy Paciotti.

 

Born in Dickson City, he was the son of the late Joseph and Valeria Pazdon Malski and he was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  He was a 1950 graduate of Dickson City High School and he received an Associate Degree from Penn State University in Electrical Engineering.  Prior to retirement he was employed by the Pennsylvania Power and Light Co. as an electrical technician.

 

He served with the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 and with US Army from 1954 to 1956 during the Korean War.

 

His family would like to thank the staff at the VNA Hospice for their kind and considerate care.

 

Surviving are four children, Patricia Sahr and husband, Jeff, Leavenworth, KS, Joseph Malski, Dickson City, Karen Staples, Jessup and Theresa Pezak and husband, Gary, Jessup; grandchildren, Savannah Stephens and husband, Donald, Heather Sahr, Michelle Sahr, Craig Pezak, Steven Sahr, Jeremy Staples, and Corey Pezak; two great grandchildren, Donnie and Carter Stephens; sisters, Mary Scango and husband, Ernest, FL and Helen Golden, NC; nieces and nephews.

 

 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Yerka, and brothers, Charles and Walter Malski.

 

A blessing service was conducted by Msgr. Patrick Pratico on Wednesday April 6, 2016 in the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc. 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.  Entombment was at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Dickson City.  Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 301 Delaware Ave., Olyphant, PA 18447.

Pallbearers were Joseph Malski, Gary Pezak, Donald Stephens, Craig Pezak, Corey Pezak and Jeremy Staples.
