Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City. A blessing service will be conducted by Msgr. Patrick Pratico, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Interment of Cremains will take place at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton at the convenience of the family. Eileen M. Bateridge, 56, of Scranton, died on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Geisinger Community Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Martin W. and Margaret May Bateridge. She was a 1984 graduate of Mid Valley High School. She was employed by WEA Manufacturing formerly Specialty Records, Olyphant.

In Eileen’s Senior year at Mid Valley, she was named Ms. Spartan. After graduation, she set off on her career path. Following her time at Specialty Records she later pursued other opportunities, in which she was always hard-working and often excelled. Anyone who she crossed paths with knew how kind, caring, loving, and free-spirited she was. She had many friends, and those relationships meant the world to her. Eileen was truly one of a kind.

Surviving are two sisters, Kathleen Coyle, Dickson City, and Noreen Logan, and husband, Thomas, Dickson City; nephews, Evan, Declan, and Kieran Logan; Uncle Bruce May, and companion, Margaret Howells; and an aunt, Mary Jane Paserp, and husband, Eugene; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Alan Coyle.

I was fortunate to work with her at NEPACIL when she wasn't being funny she was equally as sweet. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

So sorry to hear of her passing . Worked with her at NEPACIL. That time she was going through some rough times but she was such a strong person working through it. Will miss her laugh and smile. R.I.P
