Donna Davis Yanoski, 63, from Dickson City, passed away on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 surrounded by her family after an illness.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ronald Yanoski, Sr.

Born in Scranton to the late Donald J. Davis and Joan R. Davis. She attended Scranton public schools and graduated from Scranton Technical High School in 1976. She graduated from Penn State University in 2007 with a degree in nursing. She was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, Dickson City.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially weekend card games. Her laugh was contagious and always loved family get-togethers. She was always involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives, cheering and rooting them on in every way. She loved the Chicago Bears and New York Mets. Donna was an avid dog lover and recently rescued “Molly” whom she loved dearly. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Geisinger CMC and the staff at NROC for all of their care and support.

Prior to her recent retirement, Donna was a registered nurse with the Pennsylvania department of corrections in Waymart, PA for the past 9 years.

She is survived by her son David Gargone and wife Kelli Ann, Wyoming, daughter Heidi Yanoski and fiancé Jack Gething, Archbald, stepsons Ronald Yanoski Jr. and his wife Chrissy, Eynon, Stanley Yanoski and his wife Terrie, Olyphant and Michael Yanoski and his wife Inga, Buffalo, NY, her brother Gary Davis and his wife Sandy, Taylor and sister Lori Davis, Jessup. She had 10 grandchildren that she loved very much as well as her nephews, Gary Davis, Jr., Duryea, and Kevin Davis, Dunmore. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
