The funeral will be Tuesday with mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Dickson City. Interment will be in The Veterans Garden, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1090 Carmalt St., Dickson City, PA 18915-0038.

Deanna M. Liptay, “Dee Dee”, died Friday evening February 19, 2016 at the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. She is survived by her husband, Paul Liptay a US veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Josephine Cacciamani DeLeo and she was a member of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dickson City and she was a former member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Dickson City. She was a graduate of Blakely High School and prior to retirement she had been employed by Allied Home Health Care Services.

Surviving in addition to her husband are sisters, Roxine Bernatovich and husband, Andrew, Dickson City and Lillian Hafich, Quakertown.
