To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website. Bette “Betz” Uhrin, of Scott Twp., died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Abe Uhrin. Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Skwish Stupak, and she was a member of St. John Vianney Parish at Corpus Christi Church, Montdale. She was a graduate of Scott High School, and she was a homemaker. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who enjoyed lunches with her Red Hat Lady friends. She loved gardening, making beautiful hand made quilts, and playing the penny slots at the casinos. Bette absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she cared for as their babysitter. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Also surviving is a son, Paul Uhrin and wife, Leslie, Scott Twp.; two daughters, Cheryl Boyarsky and husband, Edward, Scott Twp.; and Michaeline Yurkovic and husband, Thomas, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Michael Uhrin, and wife Katie, Brian Uhrin, Candi Miletic, and husband, Anthony, Jeffery Yurkovic, and wife, Kara, E.J. Boyarsky, and wife, Laura, Bobby Boyarsky, and wife, Kristen, and Breann Boyarsky, and fiancée, Mike Striefsky; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene Yazdzik, Shelton, CT; nieces and nephews.
