Anthony N. Polanin Jr., 41, of Peckville, died on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Medical Center.

He was the son of Michelle Carone and Anthony Polanin,  Anthony was a graduate of Valley View High School, and he worked in the warehouse industry.

With the approach of the 4th of July weekend, Anthony will celebrate the freedom of suffering the illness he endured for years. The Lord has taken him. He will be forever missed, thought about and loved for the son he was…A caring, helpful person who was dearly loved and who loved all his family. Talented at an early age, he loved music also playing the drums. Not unusual to find him tinkering with cars, small engines, and riding motorcycles on Jessup Mountain with his friends, along with camping out and swimming.

He is survived by Grandmother Joan Marcinko, stepsister Ashley Carone, stepbrothers Derek Polanin and fiancée  Julie Magistro, John Harlan and wife Michelle, former stepmother Donna Polanin, many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by Great Grandparents Jean and Mitchell Pabis, Grandparents Stasia and Anthony Polanin, and Nicholas Marcinko.

He will be cremated,  and no services planned at the present time. His family would like to thank all for the condolences received.  Arrangements are by the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., Dickson City.  To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.
