The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.   Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment of cremains will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City at a later date.  To leave online condolences visits the funeral home website.

Ann Marie Daszkiewicz, 79, of Dickson City, died Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit.

Born in Peckville, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Anna Mishko Daszkiewicz, and she was a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City along with being a member of its Rosary Society, and cafeteria worker.  She donated much of her time to church functions including working the stands at the Fall Festival every year.  Prior to retirement, she was employed by Golo Shoe Company, Dunmore.

Ann Marie was dedicated to her church and her church family.  She enjoyed gardening and couponing.

Her family would like to thank her neighbors and friends, Jill Donnelly, Judi Wiktor, and Monica Michalczyk for their help with Ann Marie’s care.  Also, the staff at Abington Manor Health Care Center, especially Jean Tomaine.  Ann Marie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Surviving is a niece, Lynn Mitchko, and husband, Tom, Dickson City, and nephew, Mark Wisniewski, and wife Patricia, Throop.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Daszkiewicz, and Marlene Wisniewski.
