Andrew John ‘A.J.’ Hojnoski born July 12, 1989, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 12, 2020, after fighting a long battle with drug addiction.

Andrew graduated from Windsor Central School in 2008 with High Honors. He then furthered his education by attending SUNY Cortland School of Engineering, Broome Community College, and Lackawanna School of Natural Gas. He spent the last few years excelling as a machine mechanic technician in the Lititz, Pa. area. He had a work ethic that made his parents proud and was a true asset to his employers.

Andrew loved all living things, especially Big Red, Sadie, and Ruby. His huge and ready smile along with an energy that brought mountains of happiness to every person he touched, young and old. Outside was a favorite place for him from the time he was a small child. Some of the things he enjoyed most were quads, powerboats, paintball, amusement parks, cliff jumping, or anything that got him outdoors.  He, along with his family, Uncle Ted and David shared many good times together as Philadelphia Eagles fans.

He is the son of his most loving parents Pamela Ann and Michael John Hojnoski, Newton Lake, Pa.  Andrew is survived by a younger brother Christopher Michael, fiancé’ Brianna Nicole Deritis, and newborn nephew Giano Michael. Also, Aunt Susan and Uncle Ted Riviello and their son David, Aunt Sandra Cooper, and her daughters Jeanna and Alicia.

The family would like to thank everyone who went above and beyond in helping with A.J.’s long hard-fought battle against this insurmountable fight with addiction. His soul be at peace.
