The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with mass at 10 a.m. in St. Adalbert’s PNCC, Dickson City.  Interment, St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Dickson City.  Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  A Christian wake service will be held on Sunday evening at 7 p.m.   Memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert’s Endowment Fund, 515 Mary St., Dickson City, Pa 18519.

Robert Boyko, of Dickson City, died Thursday June 7, 2018 at home.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, the former Bernice Faltynowicz Boyko.  She died August 28, 2015.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Peter and Amelia (Mildred) Zombek Faltynowicz, and he was a member of St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church, Dickson City.  He was a graduate of Scranton public schools, and he served with the US Army during the Korean War.  Prior to retirement he was employed by B&D Company, Caldwell, NJ for 28 years.

He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who loved hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He was an active member of AA since 1971.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are three children, Robert Boyko and wife, Jet, North Carolina, Joseph Boyko and wife, Vicki, North Carolina and Barbara Bayne, Effort; grandchildren, Desirae, Brian, Jesse and Joseph Jr.; great grandson, Wyatt; a brother, Peter Boyko, Dickson City; sisters, Rita Gilroy, and husband, Robert, Taylor, and Dorothy Saicic, and husband, John, Glendora, NJ; nieces and nephews.
