Hayden R. Hall Sr., 82, a resident of the Gino Merli Veterans Center, Scranton and formerly of Dickson City, died Thursday morning July 5, 2018 at the center.  He is survived by his wife, the former Romayne Kaszuba.  On July 13, 2018 they would have celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Born in Dickson City, he was the son of the late Frank and Ada Starner Hall, and he was a former member of the Dickson City Primitive Methodist Church.  He was a graduate of Dickson City High School and he served with the US Air Force during the Korean War.  He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5937, Dickson City.  Prior to his illness he was employed by Affiliated Foods.

Hayden was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was a big New York Yankees fan.  The family would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to Gino Merli Veterans Center for their compassionate care during his time there.

Surviving is a son, Hayden Hall Jr., and wife, Tanya, Gettysburg; a daughter, Cheryl Pavlowski, and husband, Leon, Dickson City; grandchildren, Allison, and Jessica Pavlowski, Olivia, and Christopher Hall, and Mark, and Lauren Walega; nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Hall Walega.
