The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Friends may call Friday morning  8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation  Finance Department 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016 or American Diabetes Association 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.  To leave an online condolence visit the funeral home website.

Florence “Florrie” Washo, 73, of Eynon, died Wednesday morning, June 14, 2017 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton.  She is survived by her husband, William Washo.  They had been married 43 years.

 

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence Gabrick Boreshesky and she was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  She was a graduate of St. Paul’s High School and she had been employed by Emery Air Freight and T.J Maxx prior to retirement.

 

Surviving is a son, Brian Washo and wife, Andrea, Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, three princesses Sarah, Caroline and Lauren Washo; brother in law, Joseph Washo and wife, Jean, Rex, GA; sisters in law, Marianne Wise, Greenwood Village, CO and Kathi Lee and husband, John, Clarks Green; nieces, nephews and cousins.
