Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the  Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered  on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  Anyone attending is asked to go directly to the church.  Interment of cremains with military honors will be held at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.  To leave an online condolence visits the funeral home website.

Edmund J. Yaskulski, of Dickson City, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Wilkes Barre General Hospital, Wilkes Barre.  He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Zelinski Yaskulski.  They celebrated 50 years of marriage on April 20th.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Edmund F. and Ann Paskert Yaskulski, and he was a member of St. Mary’s Visitation Church, Dickson City.  He was a 1963 graduate of Dunmore High School and he received an associate degree from Lackawanna College.   He was a self employed business owner prior to retirement.  He served with the US Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Tolovania.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved in grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing, and he will be deeply missed.

Surviving is a daughter, Sheri McLafftrey, and husband, Chris, Elmhurst; a son, Charles Yaskulski, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Cody, Christopher, Amber, Crystal, Tammy, and Nikki; five great grandchildren.
